Save the Children's Community Based Lending and Savings program was registered as a local Microfinance institution Azeri Star Microfinance LLC (ASM) in May 2003.

Our Mission is to provide sustainable financial services to vulnerable micro entrepreneurs and others resulting in positive change in the life of children in Azerbaijan.

This goal will be achieved by providing permanent access to financial services to disadvantaged micro entrepreneurs especially IDPs, conflict affected population and women through the establishment of a sustainable, best practices local micro finance institution offering group solidarity and individual loans.
